John Wade was born 9 March 1789 at Back Creek, Highland Co, VA and died 30 October 1874 in Highland Co, VA.

He married Matilda Slaven. She was born about 1790 in Mill Gap, VA. She was the daughter of Stuart Slaven and Isabelle Johnson. Go to the Slaven line here.
